Documents module in Landax system is a complex tool used with an aim to manage documents.

Documents module is a solution that provides management capabilities of all written instruments, procedures, instructions, protocols and other documents. Documents may be arranged into a directory structure tailored to suit the needs and goals of the company. This module functions as a repository /library for the entire quality management system /internal control.

Document management options are many. Documents may be approved, versioned, examined and recorded . Document can have an up-to-date version available to users and a preview of the latest version accessible only for decision makers. Documents may be distributed for consultation purposes and appropriate memo can be attached.

A number of data can be allocated to documents such as:

  • Owner: person responsible for the document
  • Date of review: when the document has been verified
  • Term of Validity: date of expiry of the document’s validity
  • Category: where the document belongs in the internal control system
  • Section: to which section, if any, the document belongs
  • Approval: date and person who approved the document

Documents can easily be sent as e-mail attachment. Additionally, it is possible to add hyperlinks to articles in intranet.

File formats

Documents module is a built of files to be entered one by one or a few at a time. Files can have PDF, Word Excel or other known formats.

In addition, documents can be downloaded in PDF format. This could be useful in case of documents which would not be editable by the user.


Documents module offers an opportunity to integrate documents with saved data. It is possible to automatically add revision dates, person responsible for the document and many other fields each time the document is sent or downloaded. This option is available only in case of documents in Word format.
